Go with Your Gut

For all you struggling and aspiring entrepreneurs out there, this one’s for you…

Magnus Walker is an entrepreneur’s entrepreneur. What I mean to say is, he’s not the plastic type you read about in certain magazines that seem as if they’ve been manufactured in some factory somewhere. Nah, he’s the real deal. Absolute carpe diem type of guy.

Go with Your Gut!

I lucked across his TED presentation the other day and think most will find it quite inspirational. Just listening to his story, how he allowed the journey to carry him instead of being consumed by too many plans, ideas, processes, and details should remind us all that the most important part is just doing.

Walker’s main point regarding going with your gut is an important one. Personally, trusting my gut has put me into all sorts of surroundings, circumstances, and situations. Granted, not all of them were/have been gratifying or successful, but each allowed me to carry on another day free from the shackles of a typical 9-to-5.

Of course, not all guts are created equal, and luck certainly helps, but allowing the journey to navigate for you makes decision making a whole lot easier.

Do yourself a favor and make the time (just 20 minutes) to listen to someone else’s (in this case, his) life journey.
